HYDE-SMITH STATEMENT ON THE PASSING OF FORMER SENATOR BOB DOLE
WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senator Cindy Hyde-Smith (R-Miss.) today released the following statement on the passing of Bob Dole of Kansas, a wounded World War II veteran who went on to become Senate Majority Leader and a Republican presidential nominee:
“Bob Dole led a truly remarkable life, one which will stand the test of time as an example of sacrifice, leadership, and public service. My condolences and prayers go out to Elizabeth Dole, the entire Dole family, and the many people whose lives were touched by his life.”
