Sen. Hyde-Smith enjoying the rodeo

LAUDERDALE, Miss. (WTOK) - Sen. Cindy Hyde-Smith took a break from campaigning to enjoy the rodeo with all the cowboys and cowgirls Friday evening.
She and her family have been coming to the rodeo for several years to enjoy the atmosphere and all the competitions. The senator tells us she loves that the rodeo is a great family event. She encourages everyone to come and see what the rodeo is all about.
"It is the best bang for your buck," she says. "When you come in here and buy a ticket you get that full enjoyment. It's all night and it's great food and fellowship. Everybody has a little bit of cowboy in them."
Michael Ted Evans was also enjoying the rodeo Friday night. Evans is in the running for the third Congressional district seat.
